Supereps

Track Record

When Supereps International's holding company, MSTT, was formed in the early Seventies - by Brian Allen, a successful travel industry marketeer and the eminent financier, Alister MacKay - the Company had anticipated, by some time, the need to provide effective and professional marketing and representation services for the rapidly expanding number of overseas travel organisations seeking to exploit the important and competitive UK/European markets.

The initial focus for MSTT was representation of destinations and destination management companies seeking to attract the increasingly affluent European traveller. Shortly after MSTT's inception the "Supereps International" brand was launched, initially to handle the representation of hotels and resorts. However, as the organisation expanded, this ultimately became the official brand name for all the marketing activities of the group.

The group has grown strongly over the years, representing and marketing a wide range of high profile National Tourist Offices, destination management companies, leading international hotels and resorts and hotel groups. Among the many major organisations which have appointed us to look after their interests in Europe have been the California State Department of Tourism (in partnership with six major West Coast Visitor and Convention Bureaux), Sri Lanka Tourist Board, Fiji Visitors Bureau, Papua New Guinea Office of Tourism and the prestigious Tourism Council of the South Pacific (fourteen National Tourist Offices). More than 20 countries have been helped to establish their tourism presences firmly, and market their products successfully in Europe. Over the years a number of leading overseas ground operators have utilised our specialised services as, also, have off-line airlines like Aloha (Hawaii), VASP (Brazil) and Royal Nepal Airlines Corporation, amongst others. In a personal capacity, MSTT's Managing Director has acted as marketing consultant to various international aid agency-sponsored tourism programmes. The most significant of these to date has been the European Commission-funded Organisation of Eastern Caribbean States (eight Caribbean islands) Tourism Development Programme.

On the hotels front, on its formation Supereps International quickly won industry acceptance and attracted a number of major independent hotels and international groups as clients - some of which like Hyatt Corporation, Four Seasons Hotels group and the fabled Indian palaces of Taj International, for example, were already, or were soon to become, 'household names' in the travel trade - a veritable 'Who's Who' of the hospitality and lodging world. Today, Supereps is one of the leading independently owned hotel marketing and representation organisations, with a universally accepted brand name, competing strongly and successfully on behalf of its clients with the mega hotel representation and reservations distribution companies.

Although competition has intensified greatly in recent years, many travel industry pundits continue to consider MSTT/Supereps International to be one of the most experienced and successful travel marketing specialists in its field.
